5 happy years, aah! ... We've been married nearly 31 years but only 5 have been happy.
Not quite Rise Hall, but it suited us...and our budgetCharleston club was great wasn't it. Had many a do there.
Saw a lass t'other week who I went to uni with. Single now. Married a rovers player just after we left
Uni. Split up 4 years later. Cost about 14 grand all told. Do was at Lazaat.
What a waste of money.
Congrats by the way. Unless your mam and dad or her mam and dad are loaded don't bother. Get your, house sorted and spend it on the honeymoon and not on a load of freeloading family members you don't know or don't really want to see.
Personally, **** all the free loaders go to a beach and get married.
That's right
She was home when we went up there to give it a once over
Is the search function broken again?
I've been looking all over, but I can't find Wildie's Stag Night thread ?!
Firstly, congratulations Wilde and secondly please please please please take Ernies advice.Wold Top Brewery's an interesting wedding venue. The wife's nephew had his reception there last year.
I was driving so didn't have a drink but everyone else got hammered.
Venue? Her job.
Stag do? Get it sorted.
As said earlier, save yourself about £10k and go overseas for a dream beach wedding. Its a no-brainer. Everyones happy.Wise words here Wildie
If you choose the venue you'll get it wrong...even if it's right
If you let your mates plan your stag night the likelihood of the wedding actually going ahead reduces...particulary if you end up in an Eastern European prison handcuffed to a dwarf with a sex toy glued to your forehead (before anyone asks this didn't happen on any of my stag nights...because that was in the days when you actually stayed in the same country!)
So...popped the question on Saturday night and she said yes. (Cue the lifetime of unhappiness comments!)
However, struggling to think of some venues for the wedding, that I've not been to someone's wedding at, lazaat, millhouse, tickton etc.
Has anyone on here been to any good venues for someone's wedding in the hull or east riding area that would be worth a look?
I'm getting married in August at the Crab and Lonster in Thirsk. Whole thing is costing us 6 grand. Beatiful grounds, Michelin star food and a mystery beer tap hidden away that grants free lager to anyone who finds it.
