Former BBC weather forecaster Ian McCaskill has died aged 78, his daughter has confirmed.
Kirsty McCaskill said her father had been living with dementia for the past five years and passed away on Saturday.
She described him as a "lovely man" who brought "sunshine to people's lives".

Don't expect snow unless you live on a mountain. Dont expect floods unless you live on a canal ...... and speaking of canal, if you remove the 'c' you can expect much wind from what is left ( anal ) especially if you live near Aussie.

There used to be a news program where the presenter started taking her clothes off while reading the news each night.
She would end up naked bar a g -string on.
Of course, there was a new presenter each night and l thought the whole show was very informative.
Ahhhhh ...... the good old days.
