This was the view of the sunrise from our hotel yesterday morning (it shows direction sign posts, including Montego Bay, on the private beach) . . . .

. . . . shortly before our flight home from Ocho Rios (Jamaica), where we've been for a couple of weeks. It's been a bit warmer than Sunderland (about 27°-30° generally, being 'shorts & t shirt' weather throughout the days & nights, though the first few days were very windy and our hotel had/has a wind tunnel - no outside doors or windows !).

It's been very good, with a few good bars in Ocho Rios town centre . . . . this being my favourite (and the cheapest), where we bought a few drinks (and cannabis was readily available <yikes> . . . . we didn't !) :emoticon-0167-beer:

It's been very enjoyable, and expensive for anything outside of the hotel, including island tours, quadbiking etc., and we're knackered, but it's nice to be back to British weather again <whistle>

I've been back 3 weeks and missing the warm weather big style!

Just removed a honey bee from the bairn's bedroom and put it outside. I didn't know they came out this early!

Nice day out at Hackney Wick

I saw a treecreeper in the woods when I took the dog out earlier. They're really hard to spot!

That rain and hail we had mid-afternoon was insane! I was in Tesco Durham and it sounded like the roof was going to cave in
