  1. Too true.

Here we see Toledo being played by Sean Bean.

I just think these comments sound familiar to last season. Basically I refuse to believe anything until it is confirmed, see my above post.

We have just as many outs to negotiate, as we do ins. Trimming the squad of the rubbish that never play - Chamakh, Denilson, Almunia, Park - has to be a priority.

It will be like last year all over again except this time he will sell RVP & Song to Citeh for £ 50 Mill, Podolski will come in, Theo will get injured in The Euro's and basically it will be same old, same old - making loads of money for Stan but no ambition beyond 3rd/4th place.

Trophyless at the Emirates while Wenger stays.

This. I think Arsene is not going to buy any new players apart from Podolski or another striker to help RVP. The only player who is really worth sending money on is a top top class attacking playmaker of Arsenal/Barca style. But we need to be realistic, there is almost zero chances to find one for any reasonable money. Miyachi, Diaby and most importantly Wilshere will be our LANSs this summer. Maybe even that Campbell guy, which I personally doubt.

Team with backups in brackets. I don't know why everyone hates Ramsey and Gibbs. Both will be better next season, and Gibbs is already better than Santos anyway.

    --------------------------------Sczezney(Fabianksi)-----------------------------------
    Sagna(Jenkinson)----Vermaelen(Mertesacker)----Vertonghen(Koscielny)----Gibbs(Santos)
    ------------------------Song(Frimpong)-----------Wilshere(Arteta)----------------------
    ------------------------------------Ramsey(Rosicky)-----------------------------------
    Walcott(Chamberlain)---------------VanPersie(Podolski)-----------------Podolski(Gervinho)

I watched Vertonghen and would choose Kos on any day. Same with Rosicky - in his current form he is class above Ramsey. And finally I would prefer Coquelin to Frimpong as a Song back-up. He is a more disciplined and accomplished player.

I would expect that after going on a 7 game winning streak you would be happy, but whatever

It's a close one between Kos and Vert, perhaps Kos is still improving for us, so maybe you're right. I do think we need to sell Djourou though, he's worse than he was a couple of years ago. Vert would be a good replacement and will probably get games.

I'm sorry but Rosicky can't make up for years of bad performances with 3 or 4 good games. If he keeps playing this way then maybe he would be a better starter than Ramsey, but Ramsey still has way more potential, and on average has played way better than Rosicky in his time at Arsenal.

You're right about Coquelin, I had forgotten about him. I have been nothing but impressed with him. Frimpong is good too though. I think our defensive midfield is well sorted for the future.

Credit where it's due to Wenger. Him focusing on quality over quantity should mean a big name signing who gives the team a lift.

I think people don't know the definition of the the word WUM. If someone has a differing opinion on something, that does not make a person a WUM. A WUM who intentionally tries to get a rise out of someone but saying something totally silly, that is a WUM. Someone in this thread critised Wenger and then he was labelled a WUM?

Getting back on topic, we really need to positively get rid of the players that no longer feature for us. If that means getting rid of them on the cheap, so be it. We need to move forward and focus on the team we have, and add some more quality to it if we have any hope of challenging for the title next season.

Many fans are convinced that Wenger will sell RVP & Song to City in the Summer and that Theo will get injured in the Euros? You either believe that crap and are ******ed or you are just another WUM (or a bit of both).
Another waste of space goes on my list....

  19. Half Full (god knows how many changes Half Full has had to make to her name due to making a complete fool of herself over and over again) is the boards biggest WUM. Soon she will be talking to herself because she'll have everyone on ignore <laugh>.

At least to herself she may make some sense - 'cause no one else understands her dumb points.

LOL The same Vertonghen that keeps Van Buyten and Kompany on the bench??

He's a FAR better defender than Koscielney.
