Well ..... it's a minor discussion point ..... and relevant to the B teams / pushing to get better English players in the premiership, argument .... maybe.

It is pretty meaningless - obviously - it shows which clubs are relying more on foreign talent and teams like city, who started on Sunday with only one English player, Hart, and Milner the only other English player who started more than 10 games for them, make it harder for young English talent to break through. The upshot, expect a poor national team for the foreseeable future.

But take your point, wum articles much more fun <ok>

but when palace only got 33 goals total and 22 were got by some crap english players meaning they ended up 6th whereas lfc had 101 goals and 49 from englanders.... does this mean lfc are better or not

i mean what does.. chelsea conceeding only 8 goals from english players mean really? the parking the bus is still obvious but we all knew that.
 
Quite interesting just to see why the attacking players going into thi WC should come from Liverpool Southampton & United.

But also why our defence shouldn't with Johnson being our main reason.

I'm assuming you were meant to say you "weren't" just referring to WC managers? A you said you were.. and Mourinho isn't a WC manager, then you were just wrong <whistle>
