I've dug around in the annals of our forum and found this from Brixton in July last year:

The only two posts we've had to date relating to dimensions are these:

Brixton: The (Sunderland) guy with a bit of experience suggests the artwork is sized at 1920 pixels broad x 600 deep. Says depth can be varied a bit but not to make it too small.

Advised that 300dpi will make it a lot cleaner looking. Also try to get HD images to use with it if you can.


Dave Thomas: Advised wrongly it has to be eventually 72dpi as its a web image and will need full optimisation also 1920 is very wide.

Maybe it scales in ratio to the browser size

As for HD images of footballers think again they are expensive and are usually rights managed...

Lads it was a five minute wonder I will make one to size and I guess static will be best but if they allow a gif then we could be the first to have a rolling banner

I will do a proper graphic ... but at work this week so when i get a chance I will do a couple of progressions but we can't have Cisse and a plane anymore

Yes the strap line on this is in fact a compliment to Flyer ... he is a good bloke
