Emerson, Juninho, Ravanelli, my god they spent a lot of money on getting relegated!

I find it very difficult to believe that Leicester have a kitty of £90 million, don't forget that was quoted by TalkSport; a tabloid equivalent radio station - what total nonsense.

Ipswich seem to be signing up some elderly high-wage players, although this time without the middle east money to pay them with. They had Dyer and Bullard last year, they must like paying a lot.

having said that though, as much as a little c*** bowyer is he is a quality player who for the last like 3-4 years has often banged in 5-0 important goals a season. i would have had him.

ipswich spending, cardiff spending, leicester spending - going to be an interesting championship this year when yo consider the 3 relegated teams have barely started signing players yet (nolan + phillips aside)

i have to agree most of all though with alot of peoples thoughts about buying a whole new team and the short-term: you see countless examples of teams needing to gel and taking a while to find a groove and we were one of the biggest examples of that in L1 - and we were the big scalp back then, all this spending by leicester in particular will do is paint a big target on their backs.
only signing of theirs i would really want is Mills

Same, but I'm glad we didn't pay £5m for him. I reckon if we have faith in Aaron Martin, he could be on the same level as Mills in a few seasons time. It wouldn't make sense for us to splash mega money on a youngish defender while we have Martin set for a first team break sooner rather than later.
