Marcus Senna? I don't know the ins and outs of it, but it sounded a lot like a done deal until we landed Hargreaves, then we pulled out. I'm fairly sure I remember some unimpressed remarks from the Senna camp after that. Not sure that would happen with Young - but didnt he cancel his wedding? Why hasn't the deal been done yet?
No? Because he is a better player. It is not hard to notice. You should consider watching some of the tape on him. I was blown away on several occasions watching him on ESPN. He is one of those type of players who have unrivaled talent.
I refrained from making a bitter comment about Hargreaves haha. But you said Fergie doesn't **** people around - well he did with Senna (even if he shouldn't have - no one should **** with Senna). It's not impossible that he's keeping Young as a backup. I doubt he wants to go to Liverpool sonUnited could realistically stall him until they work out whether other targets are likely to go to them.
