To be honest smithy i still count all crosses against hendo's. So basing my argument on that basis i am technically right. Not all were great but we did get on the end of a few corners. Vaughan as an individual had a quiet game but as a midfield unit thought we were way ahead of them.

I think the Bent thing could work in our favor, if the crowd are up for it, it can be like the 12th man, just have to hope it affects bent he does not silence 40,000 people with an early goal.

WTF!!!!!!! I sometime wonder if I have watched a different game to some fans? I bet you think Richardson played really well too didn't you?

Wickham grew and grew all afternoon and was a bloody big handful for a centre half who is valued at £20m + and a big dirty animal like Robinson. He didn't get flustered or out muscled at all and created loads of space for Sess behind him. Bruce simply has to play the lad for the next 6 or 7 games now and let him build up EPL experience and we may get a plenty of cracking second half of the season performances out of him as a result.

Well done Connor. I Thought you were terrific lad.

I thought Wickhams presence alone was enough to give us much more of an attacking threat. I think he can hold the ball up well, is strong and isn't bullied off the ball and has an assertive and confident touch. On the otherhand I thought he looked one paced and didn't have enough velocity to get away from the defenders and when he kept the ball instead of passing or laying it back, he more often than not found himself in a cramped position as opposed to space due to being closed down.

I'd like to see Bruce throw Ji on for 20-30 mins now and then for a comparison. We can then see what a swift player can do. Ji has already scored too, and his finish against Arsenal albeit offside was very well executed.
