    In comparison to last season, we're like 10-12 points better off, meaning if we just do what we did last season, we should be able to finish 8th/7th.

    Yeah, the same people who always say when Manure get a lucky point or win that there are no easy games in this league, every team is strong blah blah blah, are now saying that we haven't been tested against any strong opposition.

    exactly we kept our cool against them and help out unlike chelsea but pundits just say it's luck you dont just luck 19 points in the pl and as i said at the begining of the season i thought we were only a decent central midfeilder winger and a striker away from a top 7 finish

    Pointless getting riled up about it you'll never get the media lovies to give you lot (or us) any credit.

    The whole 'easy run' is bollocks anyway... teams are just as likley to do well against good teams as against so called 'lesser' teams; I'm not saying I'm happy about it but Newcastle are where they deserve to be because they did what was necessary to get the points! Everything else is unimportant.

    p.s. I might as well get this out of the way too... I really wanted Pardew to be the smarmy bastard he looked like being when his pal brought him in but to be honest I've been quite impressed with his comments after games. There I've said it... (and I just sicked-up in my mouth a little as I typed it)

    This tbh. Only really him saying that we haven't been tested yet is the thing that got me. We have played 9 which clearly means we have been tested
