Others seem to be moving in the transfer window and yet again we are sluggish. I wonder when the hierarchy will have the transfer 'summit' they normally have AFTER the window opens.

Probably the last few days in January, aboard Ashley's yacht somewhere!!

By that time the 'line' that they never get over will be upon them and it will be too late to do anything...................... but there will have been plenty of rumours and embarrassingly low bids and season ticket renewal sales will have been healthy....................... so not all bad news then!!!!

Now you have made it dependent on Ashley's sense of humour

Bad news for Ashley today with his share holding in SD being hammered after having to tell the city SD would be about £40m behind expectations. This means his personal stake has gone down £1 Billion in about 2 weeks. This could mean no money for transfers, unless we sell first. I hope it might just give him a push to try and sell us. ( One can only but dream )

It will make no difference whatsoever to NUFC.

There's this weird misnomer that somehow Mike spends his money on the club. He's done that once, and the club still owe him!! The rest comes from within. We're self sustaining. If anyone could get that fat Kent out we'd be laughing.

If Sunderland are to avoid the drop it is imperative that Newcastle hang on to McClaren

Well I hope us being linked to Wolves' Afobe was just paper talk, because if we really were trying to get him we have just been outbid by Bournemouth. Excellent!
