  1. Maybe it's because he's the only player with pace on the right and he's been told to push forward as much as possible? Barton and Nolan have no pace, therefore Simpson's overlapping runs are essential if we want to get a good number of deliveries on that right side.

Yes but he shouldnt go up so much or so far if he cant get back in time. He's a good player but he needs to work on that. And Nolan doesnt play on the right anyway.

He played for like 3 years without an injury, so i wouldnt call him injury prone. I'd say we've been guilty of rushing him back too soon and reinjuring him

  4. He played for 3 years without injury, and THEN became injury prone.

i agree id like to see a quality CB come in to play along side colo and have williamson/saylor as cover , we've banged goals in this season although we do need starting striker aswell , imo CB has to be as important , we've scored asmany/more goals as spurs/chelski/mcity this season but have leaked quite a few more than them , thats got to be worth some more points for us next season if we improve at CB as we have created many chances in most games this season and cant see why we wont next season with injured players coming back in , and a quality striker coming in :D
    things are looking up imo!

I'd definitely get wor partick back for cover at LB, maybe a new CB as Campbell may retire? But other than that concentrate on getting a couple of strikers in and youngsters coming through.

no, he just got an unlucky string of injuries.
Taylor got his knee ligaments knackered by some shan tackle, followed by a dislocated shoulder (somewhat of a freak injury) and then we rushed him back too soon.

I think once he properly gets over his most recent one he'll be fine for ages again.
