I can't see Mark Hughes being interested - he left Fulham because he wanted a job with a big club.

There still isn't a vacancy at a big club. <ok>

Be surprised if Hughes goes to Sunderland, especially with the Wales job currently being vacant.

Seconded. I'm not sure why his name continues to get thrown into the pot whenever they talk about potential openings at Sunderland, Blackburn, etc. Not that I'm calling Fulham a huge club, but he did well there and yet still walked away -- so I don't see him making a sideways move.

Sunderland are much bigger than Fulham, I really wouldn't rule it out.

Here's hoping for Phil Brooon though.

I'm not saying they aren't 'bigger', but they won't be playing in Europe anytime soon without some serious changes, and I don't think Hughes would consider the move to Sunderland (especially in their current situation) a move in the right direction. Not to say there aren't some managers who would consider it a step up, but I don't think he would.

    Is Cest OK?

I've heard reports that a house blew up at about 6pm last night. Neighbours state that a huge explosion of jism ripped the building apart.

All Around The World they'd be partying All Night Long if Lionel Ritchie was made the manager of Sunderland.

Short said 'Just Go' to Bruce.

Ritchie states it's 'My Destiny. You Are Truly My Love. Endless Love in fact so Do It To Me. Don't Say You, Say Me'

EDIT: 10 Lionel Ritchie song titles in there...

I've recommended the following, any take your fancy Syd?

It might be best to go local, get someone who understands the fans and the area. So I've compiled a list of possibles:

Lauren Laverne - Sound knowledge of the area and brings youthful enthusiasm to the role. Probably get a decent new tune to come out to.

Kate Adie - More experienced at 66, seen it all in her time. Very good knowledge of the world from her time as a reporter with the BBC.

Billy Hardy - Die hard fan. Thick as ****, but loves the club. Could probably get them really fit, really pissed, and could also batter any squad member not pulling his weight.

Bryan Ferry - I think it would be a "Shame Shame Shame" if you didn't go for Bryan. Sunderland lad afterall. I think he's made of "The Right Stuff". It's probably a "Sign of the times" that he is not being considered but I think he is the "Chosen One" and he'd be a "Sensation". It could set off a "Chain Reaction"

Denise Robertson - Could be very good for the players in terms of counselling. This could be really helpful with Kieron Richardson. Its not nice being confused. this lad doesn't even know if he's a footballer nevermind what position he plays, such is the brainfucking Bruce has given him for 3 years. Poor ****.
