<ok> Park should only be used to press and upset the opposing team. Giggs should retire this season but in the mean time I agree, never be used as part of a 2 man CM. Crazy. Jones will improve which is exciting for us since he already is a very good player.

Park should not be wearing Red at all in my opinion. That ship has long since sailed, he's had his time and he ain't good enough.

He never was good enough but fortunately for him he had the players around him to cover up his many inadequences. Now he no longer does and looks exactly what he is, average and out of his depth.

    Still too old.

My point is that he wouldn't be arriving as an "open book". He'd come with a lot of preconceived ideas, and he'd figure that he's doing United a favour.

Man utd paid the price by not properly replacing any of the talents that have that left the club in the last few years. The Ronaldo money should have gone on 2 world class players.

I used to watch Man Utd games five years ago and you could argue that they used to have 5 or 6 of the best players in there positions in the entire country and now the probably just have just 1. I admire the way Man Utd play, they play with heart, organisation and determination but on paper the squad is no more than an average top 10 side. IMHO.

I think the club is in deep-**** once Fergi goes.

I for one do not agree that the recent buys had been poor. Phil Jones, Young, Hernandez,Smalling, Anderson are good players, and have yet to reach their potential. Players like like Cleveley, and Welbeck could grow into excellent players.

BUT I still think we need a creative midfielder like Silva or Nasri or Modric. Any one of these would improve the team. The work they do for their team is amazing and I am not sure about Schneider.

We have always played our best footballer with a combative midfielder such as Scholes, Robbo & Keano. I'm not convinced that our style of play suits the 'thinking' player such as Modric and his kind. I know the list of suitable players is short - but anything has to be better than Ando or Carrick
