Good point. But maybe Young is better than a lot of people give him credit for. Fabregas has by far and away more and assists than any other player in the PL over the last 4 years. Much as he seems to have thrown his tools down towards the end of last season and looks like he wants to be at the Nou Camp next year, there is no denying that he is a brillaiant player. However, after Fabregas, Young must surely be the most consistent assister in the PL over the last 4 or 5 seasons, and by some margin? Add to that, his eye for goal and I think you have a very good player. He may not be everyone's cup of tea but he can deliver. If we were linked with Adam, I would despair, as I think he has a lot of deficiencies in his game, but Young is a different story. And the bottom line is, English players are more desirable, simply because of the regulations in terms of home grown players.
