Dai also said "he's one of the players poor at his job and his goals tally shows that" which is, well, both wrong and stupid. I hope you don't agree with that too!

Chuffed with the young lad's signing. Hopefully we can tempt some talented hungry midfield playmaker too. Central defensive cover would be important as well. But no way should Lita be given preference over Graham. Lita has a touch like a raging bull!!! Your doing a sterling job with pitiful service Danny-boy.....

as whu are owned by gold /sullivan it was probably £500k down, £1m if he makes 4000 appearances and the rest payable if they get promoted and stay up for 3 years <ok>

in the same way with johnson and jerome, even though the fees were reported as like £3m and £5m, alot of the money was dependent on whether brum stayed up - we lost money when they got relegated (for both transfers, as they are a yo yo club).

Frimpong has just gone to Wolves on loan?!?! Surely we'd be a better option for the kid. Jesus wept...

i tell you what l would like to see is brendan bring in a better striker and revert danny to a central midfield player where his strengths would shine through, i bet you he would score more goals from that position than he would as a lone striker where his shots on target is very poor. yesterday showed that we were more productive going forward with more shots on target by different players, there are plenty of examples of managers changing a players position to maximise the strength of the player and danny is one of those players who is better suited in the midfield without the responsibility of a lone striker...

well some clubs pay up front, some dont, i remember phil brown a couple of years ago mocking us when they were trying to sign mccormack and ledley from us saying something like 'whats the world coming to when you cant sign two players in the championship for £10m?'.

ridsdale then revealed that both the bids were heavily dependent on hulls fortunes in terms of relegation, they basically offered £2m or so for each player, then they got relegated so we would have only got that. they are misleading the fans when they say £10m is £10m when its really £4m..
