Didn't realise the season had finished, bet you wish it had as things aren't quite as rosey for you lot now, I digress. So you suggest the hypothetical of survival on goal difference as being a reason to hate Bruce, yet you state Bruce had previously kept us away from a relegation scrap. You contradict yourself. After the time and money available to Bruce is not alarming that you scenario looks a viable possibility?

SAFC both the club and the team have had my undying support for 50 years.

Employees of the club have to earn that support.

I have had the misfortune to watch some dire football played by dire footballers in that time.
Yet when we saw someone putting in that extra bit of effort on the pitch it made standing in the wind and rain all worth while.
I have said before on here, in those bad old days we cheered off dreadful teams even after a defeat for putting in an effort and showing some pride in the shirt.
Just because they are higher paid now and set up for life, shouldn't excuse anyone from not playing for that shirt.
We are never going to go back to the days when players stayed with the club they loved for their whole careers, though nice it would be.

    PS.
Even back then we booed off players who had clearly made no effort, usually the same players came back the week after and put in a shift and got cheered off.
    Swings and roundabouts.
Unconditional support no matter what is happening, is ridiculous IMHO.

We all know we need an immdiate bounce from the MON appointment - the team looked so bloody nervous on Sunday it was awful to watch.

Lets all get behind them, try and lift some of the pressure on the players and then we can all get moving in the right direction - once upon a time the atmosphere we created was the proverbial "12th man". Let`s try and get that back again - we don`t do it if we start to hound the players, they`re nervous enough ffs; MON will need to give them some courage and self-belief (even the Dane) we can work against those efforts with a hostile attitiude to our own team.

Let`s get right behind them and see what we can do - we`ve given the Mags a sodding great headstart this season so let`s not bother about them, concentrate on getting out of the current situation and fight back for next season!

    Happy Days
