I find it strange that we don't ever seem to get linked with a right back when it's clear as day we need one. Sure Ivan does a job and 2 seasons back he had an epic season there but we need a specialist not a converted cb.

Think that Ivan has now played enough at right back to be considered one, not a converted CB, in fact he looks dodgy as CB !!!
Bang on about needing a back up, since it seems Hutchinson is not getting a chance. Don't get me started on our lack of opportunities for our youngsters, brain dead policy.

Ivan has been nowhere near as effective this season as he was a couple of seasons ago and he hasn't got the pace for it.

Varier2, I agree with you here, but also agree we do need a backup, not just an OK one but a really good one. Would like to think Hutchinson or one of our kids could be looked at properly.

Van Der Weil is weak defensively. I was also under the impression he was younger. Since everyone thinks we need a right back them it has to be Azpillicueta. I don't know. I think there are more important issues with transfers in my opinion.
