Please VT , if we are promoted and want to stay up, give MM some cash for someone like :

" Loïc Rémy will be the prized target for the Premier League's predators if Queens Park Rangers are relegated "

I know he would cost around what QPR paid for him - 7 million, but we have to score more goals.

Would he come CCFC - maybe, if we are serious - he certainly would be guaranteed a starting spot, which may not be the case at Arsenal or Spurs.

Let's get a proven center forward with height, weight & a record.

Thoughts anyone ??

After last night's second half nonsense, I'm still putting the party on hold. If we don't get some sort of result against Forest and Watford beat Pbrough, it could get to us; Watford will suddenly start believing that anything is possible again. Their next game would be away to Millwall— not easy— followed by a visit from... Blackburn. I see them winning two of those three. If we fail to win our nest two and they do as I predict, I'm afraid it could all go to the wire. Bolton are in some form as well. I just hope that it donsn't come down to us praying for Leicester, or worse still, Leeds, to do us a favour. I have this terrible feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach. Everyone's saying we need only do this that and the other but it is, after all, a funny old game. What's more, we should know better by now.

A record hmmm....Joey Barton? <cool>

I would love to see someone like Andy Carroll at city, big, strong centre forward that'll put his head in where it counts and Liverpool don't want him so why not

Wenger has totally broke arshavin IMO. His wages would be out of our league too.

The scousers want a reported 17 mill for Carroll (who would have scored about 8 if he'd been playing last night).

Grant holt would seem more in our league. Spends plenty of time on the Norwich bench but has proven he can score at PL level. I think FC and Maynard will get game time together, I didn't see enough of Maynard to have a honest opinion of how that'll work out though.

You're stressing over nothing, this is your year.... Welcome to the EPL..

Swansman

Positive thoughts appreciated <ok> but isn't it the Barclays Premier League? With 2 Welsh clubs participating next season we can't allow it to be the E(English)PL.

As long as we make as much noise as Stoke fans and stay up. Having said that, it would be lovely to see us play decent football. At last, we've seen some players who are capable of doing that. Kim, Much, Bellamy (of only for another 1/2 seasons. If we have 25 million to spend, it would be good to spend some of it on a quality striker, I agree. We need better than Holt. I agree that Remy would be a good buy.
