Whats the point in that? We need a player now, not in 5 months time. Wenger ****s it all up, as usual. ****ing clown.

  2. I wonder if Arsene is addressing the needs of tomorrow because he is too afraid to address the problems of today. :emoticon-0138-think

And we need players in the next year, the year after and the year after that. If you look at then now every time then where the hell is long term planning. This player is an investment that does not really put the club in any risk. The scouts will do their job and Wenger has the final say. I see no problem whatsoever in carrying on investing in possible future gems. This kid has no affect on any 'now' transfers so what is the actual harm in investing? After all we invested on youngsters in the past who turned out to be pretty decent. Those hits have a huge affect on the club. The possible rewards outweigh any risk. Also, the now is a different ball game. Both are not linked.

He had an ACL injury, so was out for the season last year i believe. that's when Goetze etc. broke through. It might be that he's just as talented, but won't get the game time at Dortmund because he was held back by his injury.

I'd say if they think he's worth a punt he is. Frimpong suffered an ACL, and that held him back. Now everyone is raving about him.

This is a rumour as things stand isn't it? A rumour from the Daily Mail no less. There may be truth in it but until we physically sign someone I won't get too worked up about it. This is Arsenal people, how often do we sign players?!

I'd also not boo a player before he's played. Enough fans on here were sceptical when we signed AOC and are now clamouring for him to start every game. I admit it looks a perculiar one on paper (Amaury Bischoff anyone?) but nothing is confirmed yet.

On the subject of Ryo did anyone here the rumour about him going on loan to Bolton for the rest of the season? I'd be happy with that.

The point is...Wenger was wrong to sign Oxo because he was young and relatively unknown, now he's an idiot for not playing him from the start of the season. Sometimes, you just can't win.

I heard the Ryo rumour, I think it's between Fulham & Bolton for his loan. Wonder if he'll be used in a make-weight for bringing someone in?

At the moment the Dortmund guy is just rumour. But usually a rumour is "Arsenal are in for X" rather than that he's due at Arsenal for a medical - that seems a bit more weighty to me.

Although i would be very happy to see Miyaichi get game time with Bolton and it would be a great way to adapt in the premiership, isn't it a little unfair on the lad that he hasn't even been given the oppurtunity yet? I mean, Arshavin has been poor all season and apart from OXO, we have no natural wingers? If injury was the only thing keeping him out then that is unfair. Maybe Wenger thinks he is not ready?

Ah fair enough. I saw "Daily Mail" and couldn't be arsed to click on the link. I have my standards after all.

Regarding Ryo I think I'd rather he joined Bolton as he'd stand more of a chance to play. Both play some nice football so neither would be a bad move. The important thing would be match time for him.

*Re Lazarus. Yes, I'd like him to have been given a chance. I'd like to think he would have too but he was injured for about a month after his Carling Cup game. I can only presume he's not impressed in training.

So does anyone know anything about him?! Beyond that he's not made the first team and has been injured that is... My knowledge of German football is limited to say the least. Want to know about the Blue Square South and I'm your man but that's about it for me :D

Yes maybe that is the case so the loan to a premiership club would be ideal. How about Swansea? They play terrific football and perfect for Miyaichi to go to?

    ** He's 19
    ** Attacking Midfielder
    ** Currently plays for Dortmund
** Has no caps for ANY German National Team at ANY level
** Hasn't even made the bench for the Dortmund team
** Got a bad ACL injury in 2009 that kept him out for ages
** Is behind Goetze and a couple of others in the pecking order
** Out of contract in summer
** Means it's a good deal for all parties - Dortmund aren't going to use him, Arsenal like paying low amounts, the player will get more opportunities
** Scored 6 in 12 for Dortmund Under-19s this season, but has 0 assists

That's about all I can find so far. Doesn't tell you much more than you already know I'd guess.

Swansea have tricky wingers already. I doubt he'd get much playing time.

I'd certainly not grumble at that. But as BW says they've good players already. Think he'd be used most at Bolton.

Maybe only Bolton have asked to take him on loan.

Wow your negative. I read he had a cruciate ligament injury that ruled him out for almost a year - thats why he has'nt broken into the first team. But the guy is highly rated.
I dont think one bad injury is enough to classify someone as 'injury prone'.

Same happened with Pingpong too and he's looking to be the real deal. I imagine if I were German and my club were signing him at the start of the season I'd have thought "the f*ck"?! But he's got it in him to be a real gem of a player. Fingers crossed Eisfield turns out to be as good. As I have no expectations I can't be dissapointed here!

  19. According to the BBC's gossip column we're looking at a 25 yr old Watford defender.

Ahh yes I forgot it's the end of the January sales. :emoticon-0138-think

You've got a point there...Well im sure playing for Bolton will be good development for him, especially as Wilshere had a successful spell. Also we get to see him play!!!
