Marv and Benny both missed two headers that they probably should've scored with. Benny just couldn't get over his and it went over and I don't think Marv actually expected it to get to him as Ba and Samba both missed it, but it was a free header and he should've buried it.

 

Shhhhhh, so did I but I just didn't want to admit it.

 

Was Samba good? Phil Thompson was raving about him, despite being part of a defence that let in 3 lol

Not sure if anyone has mentioned, but in 2011, we've played 31 games, won 11, drawn 13 and lost 7. That makes us an alright team doesn't it?

 

Thats fantastic. If that was 31 league games in one season it would be 46 points with 7 games to go. Be chasing a European place I think

 

How about: since we got relegated, we've played 105 games in all competitions, lost 23, drawn 30 and won 52 (although 28 of these were in the Championship). In that time, we've scored 184 goals and conceded 127 (although 3 goals for and 3 against came in extra time.)

So that is 186 points out of 315. Pretty impressive. The ones we didn't get was James Perch's fault

 

Well, take out the 12 cup games and six wins and that makes it 168 out of 279. Very impressive I'd say. It annoys me that there are so many last gasp winners or equalisers in amongst that lot!

 

As long as we win I don't mind when we get the goals lol. We are improving atm and with 1 or 2 additions I think we can improve that very impressive amount of points even further

 

I mean for the other team! But yeah, I think we'll improve if we build on the squad we've got, and not spend transfer window after transfer window just replacing people. We have a good core of players we simply cannot lose. I'd hate to see us have another pre-season like this year. It's all been sunshine and happiness since the first game (barring tonight), but nobody really had a clue what was going to happen with our team and I hate that uncertainty.

 

Ah I see! lol. I know what you mean, the 2 games in a row against the Scummy ****s and Tottenham where we should have won 1-0 come to mind

 

When Perch plays we concede loads.

 

The run had to end at some point but all i want to see when we do lose is that we go out on our sword and **** me scoring two screamers in injury time when 2-0 down tells me this aint going to be a blip. Stoke is going to be very hard. but even if we get beat we won't roll over.

 

agree we've got this never say die attitude we haven't had for ages ..good stuff

 

What worries me is Obertan played a major part in getting us a penalty so now he will start vs Stoke.
