Was their reaction against Liverpool or the player? If you look closely the reaction here is against how the player has gone about the move. No-one really has a problem with you or even a player wanting to move to a bigger club challenging for trophies, it is purely how he has done it and what has been said over the last 12 months. There is no argument with you per se (well, maybe when you take Lovren too!!) because you are a bigger club by far. Yo just have to understand the build up to this. Still, you have one hell of a player on your hands now and seeing as you mentioned Allen, I hope this latest signing has a similar impact
