How South Coast clubs are viewed in Jersey: Pompey - no particular emotions, Saints - mixed as Jerseyman Le Saux played for them but so did the donkey (Jersey derogatory term for a Guernseyman) Le Tissier, Bournemouth - liked as Jerseyman Pitman played for them and Brighton hated as seagulls are classed as vermin!

So hostile! As for Buckley, I wouldn't count your chickens. I really wish him the best... He could well be on his way for £3m himself in 12 months, then again he could spend the season sulking on the bench as he has done here. I'm not at all pleased that he's gone, but I won't be losing any sleep over a luxury player when what teams down our end need is grafters that can last the full 90. He'd be great at the top end of the division.
