Nah they'll spend 800-900m and keep the gap the same.
2nd is improvement for us, we have to take it this season and we may have to remain humble next season depending on how the summer goes. It's certainly not worth celebrating though, the open top bus can stay in the garage this summer whether we win the FA Cup or not.
It's a fake accolade after the season City have had though, Utd are closer to 6th placed Arsenal than City.
Lot of money needs to be spunked by the Glazers if they want Utd to finish 2nd to City again next season because 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th will no doubt improve what they've got also.

The gap from 1st to 5th last season was 18 pts,
and 5th finished on 75 pts.
The gap from 1st to 2nd this season will be about that,
and 3rd this season will be -1 to 2 pts different to 5th of
last season.
