As a result of the clattering that Walker took during this game he's pulled out of the England squad for the friendlies against Eire and Brazil.

Good move. He needs a rest, not more games in the cricket season.

Dembele is a good player. Agree with you on Dempsey and Sig though.

Problem is nobody is getting the cream, at least not in the PL anyway.

    Messi - La Liga
    Ronaldo - La Liga
Falcao - Off to Ligue 1
    Lewandowski - Bundesliga
Cavani - Most likely off to La Liga

Undoubtedly the top 5 attacking players in world football, none in the PL (before anyone says it I wouldn't put RVP above any of those 5 and nor would most people that watch continental football).

Chelsea are having resort to buying the next generation of Drogba's, Ronaldo's etc as they can't compete with the Bundesliga/La Liga clubs for the "creme". City are no longer flavour of the month and United haven't bought a marquee player for about 10 years excluding a 29 year old.

Do me a favour! <doh> RVP pisses all over the pair...and he's in the PL.

    DriveL

The reason the 'creme' don't want to sign for you ****ers is your owner is a ****...your captain's a racist...need I go on?

Hence why Cavani and Lewandowski both have superior goal scoring records and I think Lewandowski's 4 goals against Real speaks for itself, plus the fact he'@@ be joining and improving Europe's best club.

Do you watch Bundesliga or Serie A?

Premier League in general is struggling to attract top, proven talent from other leagues because its a league in decline, and has been for some while despite Sky's propaganda. All top 6/7 teams in the PL are going to struggle in the market and will have to look elsewhere. Difficult considering the pool of talent is far more limited.

Really...stick your figures up your arse, RVP is better than both, end of.

You have a very pompous view of your club btw, you lot are not an 'attractive' proposition anymore, you're about as attractive as Camilla Parker Bowles cumface.

Not better in any way. He's had 1 and a half good seasons in a 3rd rate league. Cavani and Lewandowski have been doing it at the top level.

No shame in coming 2nd to the best team in Europe. A team that beat Barca - who are miles better than any PL team - 7-0 on aggregate.

Lewandowski has scored 30+ goals this season and last, has a superb record in big games and led his side to the double last season. More than RVP has achieved in his entire career.

    Enjoy the chat <ok>

You can't use a stat like that in isolation, DL. Arsenal lost to Bayern by less, so are they better than Barca? Blackburn and Bradford beat Arsenal, so are they better than Barca?

Not sure how you've come to the conclusion that those are "undoubtedly" the top 5 attacking players in the world, either.
Cavani hasn't gone anywhere yet and Falcao's moved for money and a tax break, so I'm not sure that his move says anything about the standard of football.

Damn! I was hoping there'd be some more DriveL to laugh at!....must be backpedalling still!

"Lewandowski has scored 30+ goals this season and last, has a superb record in big games and led his side to the double last season. More than RVP has achieved in his entire career."

"Lewandowski has scored 30+ goals this season" ....so has RVP, in a harder league!...how many International No.1 keepers are in the Bundesliga?

"led his side to the double last season. More than RVP has achieved in his entire career."...Trophies/achievements and player qualities are not, and never will be related, only a dullard who knows nothing about football would write that. The fact RVP played for Arsenal, the trophyless ones! is neither here nor there when it comes to the comparison of 2 strikers ability.

I have to say one thing in your favour, your non-statements do support your non-argument, all culminating in perfect non...sense!

Falcao's 3rd party ownership makes it difficult to draw a definitive conclusion as to why he moved there. I suspect it was just the easiest way to get a transfer to Real Madrid.

Those 5 pretty much have the best stats in Europe and are the most coveted.

This is as pointless as claiming (given that's it now the cricket season) that Dale Steyn is a better bowler than Jimmy Anderson or Saeed Ajmal is better than Graeme Swann. There are too many variables.

Like Anderson, RvP has proved himself the best in English conditions and that's good enough for me.
