You can't use a stat like that in isolation, DL. Arsenal lost to Bayern by less, so are they better than Barca? Blackburn and Bradford beat Arsenal, so are they better than Barca? Not sure how you've come to the conclusion that those are "undoubtedly" the top 5 attacking players in the world, either. Cavani hasn't gone anywhere yet and Falcao's moved for money and a tax break, so I'm not sure that his move says anything about the standard of football.

Falcao's 3rd party ownership makes it difficult to draw a definitive conclusion as to why he moved there. I suspect it was just the easiest way to get a transfer to Real Madrid. Those 5 pretty much have the best stats in Europe and are the most coveted.

This is as pointless as claiming (given that's it now the cricket season) that Dale Steyn is a better bowler than Jimmy Anderson or Saeed Ajmal is better than Graeme Swann. There are too many variables. Like Anderson, RvP has proved himself the best in English conditions and that's good enough for me.
