No disrespect MS but your OP doesn't make an awful lot of sense. Less than 300 tickets at 7pm this evening IS a sell out! Will there be any tickets left by KO tomorrow? I dount it. Besides, you can't sell every single ticket for every single game. Its like employment rates. Full employment doesn't mean 100% of the eligible workforce is at work. Its around 96%. Because despite there being work for everyone in such an economy, there'll always be some lazy gits who prefer the giro. The game's also been switched, is live on TV and we're rock bottom the league! I'm blue in the face from using this example but I'll go again. Cardiff had a ground almost identical to ours yet were only getting around 13k through the gates so they were 6 or 7 thousand off capacity. They built a new stadium and low and behold they couldn't fit all the people in despite having a new capacity of almost 27k. Brighton too couldn't even fill the Withdean but look what they're averaging now. MS, my friend, the old adage always rings through: Build it and they will come
Swords all I'm sayings is that a London derby I would expect it to have being a sell before Friday afternoon with QPR still trying to sell tickets that's all. I can understand the argument if we were talking about playing Norwich,WBA,Wigan etc but Spurs! no I'd expect this to be a sell out before Friday that's all,hence my OP if we cant fill out our small stadium for a game like this, is it really something we should do in the next couple of years and go build a new one. To be honest if I had a crystal ball I doubt we will even be in a new stadium 5years time unless our fortunes turn around this year and we quickly establish ourselves in the premier league
