I got halfway through my own note pulling you up for that before I noticed what you were doing. It was a bit subtle for these boards.
Not really sure, I have said before that I thought he was good for it, but the coaches said that he was tried in that role several times and performed horribly, and when asked about it replied that he felt he had no business playing the position. As far as I remember the article it just gave the impression that his instincts were all wrong when he played there. He is rather like Wilshere, too weak in the tackle, too light, too much of a gambler.
To say you didn't need Fabregas is totally wrong IMO - be interesting to see who you do sign, but not signing Fabregas will prove to be a dreadful error I believe.......
Lol when we signed Ozil all non-Arsenal fans were like ****ing Arsenal, always signing attacking midfielders when they have enough, now we don't sign Fabregas and it's ****ing Arsenal, why didn't they sign him when they needed him.....
These would be the same people that used to rant about Man £ity buying players they didn't need, just to prevent them from going to other teams...
