What the hell does that have to do with Sagna? Last I checked Cesc doesn't belong to us and Sagna is going on a free. You still avoided the point, not to mention most of our players are tied down to long term contracts. Arsenal were certainly powerless to stop Sagna leaving for the simple fact his contract had expired.He was offered a new one but chose to reject it.
And he isn't getting any younger. He'll start to decline as age takes its toll. But he should still be good for a season or 2.
As if anyone "earns" anything like 60k or more a week. As for Cesc, why shouldn't he go to Chelsea? What loyalty did Arsenal show to him? They flat out rejected their option to bring him back, yet people expect him to not go to Chelsea? He probably did have offers from other places, but I'd imagine he likes London, he knows and likes the PL, and with Arsenal rejecting him, he's gone somewhere else. The best of luck to him. This is Arsene's fault, not Cescs.
