valley i can tell you don't like it as its too close for comfort but im afraid everything has to do with laudrup from players to training to the actual games......there is no way you cannot involve laudrup in any thread where it concerns the swans....If you really dont like hearing about his mistakes then this is not the site for you......

This post is typical of the reason I've given up on you, Dai. A number of posters have pointed out to you already about this term "beating a league two" club that you keep bleating about. You go on and on and on and on and on about it ad nauseum - and I am sick to death of seeing you repeat it. Well I predicted preseason, we'd finish between 10th and 7th, and we have sat in 9th place for the last 8 weeks or so, I'm sure we'll get another few more points to stay where we are!..........

HOORAY you prove my point....your right we were really good playing the way Brendan left us playing....WHAT has happened ivor????? Laudrup is whats happened!!.....He was suppose to keep us playing the way we were very successful at and at the beginning while getting use to the players he did.....But then he started to change the system bit by bit....gone is the short sharp precise passing and in comes the long ball easy for clubs to intercept passing....Out goes our main strikers to play michu on his own up front after he notched up a shed full of goals as an attacking midfield, gone is our wingers who terrorized other sides especially the liverpools,chelsea's of the premiership.....and dont start me on the midfield as leon looks lost with the system we play now. so thank you ivor for proving my point of how much we have deteriorated since laudrup has taken it upon himself to play his way....Its not working and never will...football has moved on from when he was playing the game....
..so just to clarify, when did Brendan Rodgers magic dust finally wear off on us? After the Cup Final or the Newcastke game? And this just so happened to co-incide with Laudrup (who had been at the club over 6 months at this stage) methods finally being implemented. He's bloody brilliant that Rodgers isn't he?
Maybe if we offer Brenda a huge contract and double his 60M transfer pot that he has in Liverpool he will come back to the city he loved so much.

We beat those teams playing Laudrup's way with his team and signings, not Rodgers'. Leon is looking lost because JdG has decided he is now a "Big Time Charlie" after being capped by Holland and refuses to put in a shift. Leon is scurrying here, there and everywhere trying to plug the gaps that de Guzman is allowing, and his own game is suffering as a result. The team's performance has fallen off a couple of percentage points because, wrongly in my opinion, they considered their target achieved when we hit 40 points and won the League Cup. We slackened off last season at the same time with one difference - there was bugger all in the trophy cabinet. As for football moving on since Laudrup played, how far has it moved on since Rodgers played? Oh, hang on, he didn't play did he? He really brings first hand experience to the job, I don't think. Don't blame Laudrup for the player's failings. But he is taking note of that you can be sure. The deadwood will be flushed out this summer and the manager will bring in players who will do the job he asks of them. Judge him then.
Well said Ivor, though wasted on Dai, Trouble with Dai is he's forgotten our poor end of season run under his beloved Rodgers last year, where we had a similar bad run, but he can't see the pattern!............. Under his beloved Brenda, between 24th of March to 6th May, 8 games (24 points) but only 1 win, so that's 3 points out of 24, so in other words, both managers have experienced our boys drifting at the business end of the season!......
