Isn't Mendes the player who, according to the officials, didn't score for Spurs against ManU at Old Trafford..? Sorry to go off topic, but it still amazes me to this day how ManU got away with this. What makes me laugh is how the commentators say, I think the ball was over the line. There was no thinking required <laugh>:

I think that is what is called reverse Fergie time...<yikes> That was shocking.

Mendes was one of those players that only seemed to score cracking goals..from memory anyways.
If you don't mind me asking Lapras, is Thorne going to be a big miss for you? I heard he is out for a while and with all the change of players at your end I've lost track of who your better players are?
 
May I be the first to congratulate you on your arrival. It must be so refreshing to get to watch a real team play football. And isn't it nice that you even brought along your that wretched bunch of toe-rags from your neck of the woods so that they can learn a thing or two.
