Could we walk away without paying?
The financial deal is an integral part of the withdrawal settlement that also includes the agreement on transition, so reneging on the financial deal would mean leaving the EU with no transition arrangements in place. Future UK compliance will be overseen by the governance arrangements agreed as part of the withdrawal treaty.

If negotiations broke down later this year, and the UK refused to pay, the EU might seek redress through the International Court of Justice or the Permanent Court of Arbitration, both located in The Hague. The result of such a court case would be hard to predict.

I don’t know why I’m singled out - there are plenty of people who voted Remain on here.
I don’t think the EU would close the skies, but they will mischief-make wherever they can. They will behave like a lover scorned and will stab us with tiny knives at the slightest opportunity.
Anyway, I think May has achieved something that I didn’t think was possible; she has managed to unite both the remainers and the Brexiteers - they all hate her deal!!!

no about 300 or so spout off they do! however, and it is a big however …………
……...a very large number of the heads of industry truly believe in it, and have stated that it is the best that can be expected at the moment! indeed some have said it would be hard to get better!
these people are the money men, they keep the jobs rolling in, if it all goes tits up for a couple of years because a few MP'S are more interested in what they can get from it... led by Corboliks and MOGGY then be prepared for a slump in growth and investment = a loss of jobs in those industries already on the edge like construction and engineering, followed by a big drop in retail employee's as a worker without a job has less money and spends less... tories give way to CORBOLIKS, who borrows £trillions we can never pay back, the UK then goes cap in hand to the EU, please bail us out like you did Greece and and .. only to get an answer of sorry, we were only able to bail them out because you were so generous with the Billions you paid in to allow us to do so ………..

EDIT: Removing this actually. We're going around in circles. I'm open to debate, but I'm not open to Daily Mail-regurgitated nonsense without any fact whatsoever. If you'd rather believe what you're told and not actually have to engage your brain and research for yourself, then fine. Take RR with you. At the end of the day you will pay for this just as I will.
