we have trade agreements with many countries all over the world our trade agreement is with China, not the EU, the fact we are in the EU is beneficial to the Chinese as they have a bigger platform to sell to, they sell the same "object" to other countries sometimes more expensive sometimes cheaper …
    not bitter at all …

NO goes to parliament in a couple of weeks time listened to her speech this afternoon …….
it was amazing how many pre prepared questions were repetitive and out of context, how many of the mouthy gits left after they were chastised or their questions were dismissed by TM as a repeat of what someone else had said the bigger mouths REE'S MOGG .. BORIS timid mice, …... and the erjit of the SNP makes me feel ashamed to be in the most part Scots … a bigger load of drivel spouted [ wants independence for Scotland, was really p****** off when they voted NO ] than even the pretender as Queen of Scotland [ ALSO WELL PEEVED WHEN the vote was NO ]could come up with!!!!!!!!!

march 29th we are out, does not matter what the vote is in 2 weeks time
The government cant take unilateral action and say "you voted the draught agreement out but we are going to go with it anyway " so back to square one to negotiate another draught that will cost £b's …..
TM could resign / voted out .. tory leadership battle [ that's what Mogg and a few others are holding out for ]
Should TM be really p***** off with the lack of support and back stabbing she could go to the queen and dissolve they have the most seats but not enough for an overall majority … now that could be a real disaster many MP's in all parties could be voted out, either by a swing to opposite party or in their ward the voters p***** off with their antics . SNP might lose a few seats … as one or 2 spoke up in favour of …..
EU DEAL FOR LEAVING HAS BEEN LEGALLY SIGNED WE ARE LEAVING a renegotiation would give the EU a massive advantage whether we wanted back in or a new deal...…….
Corboliks .. oh how his script writers drop him in the MIRE... TM totally destroyed him on most of his comments, and each one she answered the camera flashed to him "red cheeked and looked like the slapped ass of a donkey"
He was not the only one . numerous Q's were involving the £39b …. and the answer, which had been given 50 times over the past few weeks was the same... it is our legally binding costs and the UK does not welch on its debts/pay

I am gearing up for the worst … hedging my bets … converting my savings pension pot [ shares gradually at the mo as they become £30% more than paid ] to cash will then buy into gold or oil stocks, already have 12 oz … no barrels yet tough!
I would love the worst scenario CORBOLIKS getting in BRINGING THE COUNTRY TO ITS KNEE'S .. and all those pretentious egoists having sleepless nights and nightmares with no job … would use my estate to ensure my kids got a new life in AUSSIE as both have "needed jobs" …. and the kids have talent

So are you saying that if the deal gets rejected then we are basically in ‘limbo’? Not in or out? Or are we effectively in a ‘no deal’ situation?

They don’t need to fly over us to get anywhere, other than to come to Britain. Where we need to fly over them, going around EU skies will be a nightmare.

I'm going to stop us bickering at some point but please stop saying this. Our trade agreement with China is via the EU. Their deal is not with us, it is with the EU and we are (currently) part of that.

It seems it have to take actually living with no deal for most of you lot to understand what it would mean.

You same people who moan about the EU bureaucracy and see Farage and Jacob Rees-Mogg as the saviours.... you know who profits out of Brexit? They do. You know who suffers from Brexit? You and I.

That EU figure sounds a lot but in reality... We save 0.37% of our total spend by being out of the EU with no deal. 0.37%.... Compared to the cost of being out of the single market.

R&W - What are you like.
Have we only started to fly to Europe since joining the Common Market ?
Do you really think they're going to blockade the UK ?
If they do, then I say bring it on - we're not some Banana Republic.
The scare stories coming from Europe and May make my blood boil, and worse, you and the Youngens on here believe it.

Question : If it kicks off in the Ukraine with the Russians, God forbid, is Macron going to say Non to the RAF flying over French air space bolstering NATO ?

deal or no deal = no deal but out
sri RR any which way we don't walk away and not pay... its money owed/due [ we will pay more if the time frame extends or could do ]
different rules and international legislation determines flight path routes … its the same in the English Channel for shipping

In terms of total trade in goods and services, China is the UK's fifth largest trading partner (in terms of countries) - and the second largest non-EU partner after the United States. In 2016, UK-China trade was worth £59.1bn.
The UK ran a trade deficit of £25.4bn with China in 2016.
Imports from China were £42.3bn, whereas UK exports to China were worth £16.8bn.
our trade deals with China are negotiated privately ..BUT SIGNED OFF BY THE EU … the rules /conditions/ negotiated/ applied by EU are applied to give other countries that want to make similar product service deals with China follow the same path. This saves time and money on negotiating tariff's taxes and the such like with 28 separate countries.... TM signed off £9bn of trade with China when she visited last time.. the EU then sorts the signing of the trade deal ……..…..

That is not a trade deal! You've copied that from a BBC article where Theresa May agreed a trade and investment review, and I quote 'seen as a stepping stone to a full free trade agreement after Brexit'.

Again, wrong. In the event of no deal we do not pay the divorce bill.

WRONG why are you calling it a divorce bill ? it is payable whether the draught goes through or not whether we leave or not it is what the UK owes ...............… TM MADE THE POINT ABOUT A DOZEN TIMES YESTERDAY... go on i player down load the programme and watch for 90 minutes ………. you might learn something ….

PS in an obtuse way I can see where you are coming from re the China DEALS … AGREE TO DISAGREE is best way forward on this, it is based on what aspect you / me choose in regard the workings of it …..

I’m starting to think JGF started this thread to try and come across as “all hail me, I know what I’m talking about”
RP wants to say “you young uns don’t understand”

And RR is just plain daft

There is no obligation whatsoever for the UK to pay anything if it is a no deal Brexit. I'm not lying to you JGF, it's the facts. Google it if you need to. The UK can decide to if it likes, obviously to keep relations sweet or for something in return, but it does not have to be paid in a no deal scenario.
