Should have retaken the lead there, Obika only had to square it to Ceballos for a tap in but scooped it way over the bar instead.

Really disappointed with that. Totally dominant and threw it away with some slack defending in the second half as we failed to deal with their substitution. Crappy format has robbed the kids of a trophy, for me. Better all season and it comes down to an away trip on the back of a long season.
Real shame we lost. The better team overall but we score and concede for fun, just as we have all season. Plenty of positives in our attack though, mini Bale looked exciting again and Ceballos looked really good, he's unbelievable with the ball at his feet and has a great shot too.
Judge this lot over an entire season, not the 2nd half. They have been miles ahead of the competition all season. Now to get them thru the pipeline into the senior squad.
Shame about the result, but a good game to watch, its nice for someone like me to see all the names I hear about on the same pitch, its difficult to watch any of them with any regularity, if it all, when they're here, there and everywhere.
