There's a lot to be said about being a big fish in a small pond, you'll have some good times in League One, despite not wanting to be there, you'll still enjoy the football and despite losing some players, you'll still strike fear into everyone you play. As a Hull City fan, I know all about lower league football and some of the best away days I ever had were in League One(and League Two for that matter). You'll be back before you know it.
We are down but not out and we will be back bigger and better in the future at least it is not as bad as leading up to 1982, thank god don't think I could go through that again I really feel for the Pompey fans who seem to have to cope with disaster season after season.
Thinking that you will gain auto promo is fantasy until you have had the clearout and O Driscoll rebuilds a team for L1 and above no one has a clue what City are likely to acheive next season as its all assumptions based on thin air. Remember it took you 8 seasons to escape L1 last time, when the rules on revenue and expenditure on players did not exist. COR
