I dont mind telling you I'm gutted.. !! Nice words though TC. I will not continue to spend my time watching Kilkenny any more though, the man drives me mad.. any more starts and I am walking out the ground and heading for the BS3 till he comes off..
TC - Thanks, but you don't realise the **** position we're in. We've been told we're losing at least 12 players due to FFP and we'll be left with kids and a few who nobody else will employ. No mate, only one direction we're heading - South.
Gents - come and join us down in the basement! You'll like it down here, it's nice and quiet and you don't have to bother about being on TV too often. We can have our own little West Country league with the Devon teams and Cheltenham!
****ing more gutted Cardiff got promotion, think I'm going into hiding tomorrow! Got a feeling the price of concrete is going up to the first customer to mock me Good to see the messages on here, only true football fans understand the pain we all feel when this happens. I had to explain to my 13 year daughter that I have been through this 6 times she asked if it gets easier I said no but you just get ready for it. She believed right up until the final whistle we would get out of it, no matter how many times I told her these past weeks.
But you'll have double the crowds of 75% of your opposition - what's wrong with giving the kids a chance and shopping in the lower leagues - someties you find a few gems , players like Beckford, Austin, Morison were all recruits fro non-league in recent years!!
Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be),we are going to Shrewsbury, Que Sera, Sera. Great fans tonight, I'm proud to be one of them.... Up the City.... please log in to view this image
Really sad to see City lose it's way. I feel your pain and hope you bounce back at the first attempt. Be positive,it's the only way to be.
Commiserations to you guys from a Bristol football fan. Both clubs have suffered from the same malaise over the last few years and a succession of managers at the helm have found it difficult to remove the canker. Let's hope that whoever were the bad apples in the barrel are put out to grass. Those forty odd folk who manage and play the game and carry the banner for our clubs get recycled every few years whereas we the supporters are around for a lifetime!
I am genuinely sorry to see you go down. I have a lot of time for you guys and you have always given us a good reception whenever we have played at the gate SOD will be take you back up first time of asking and you will come back stronger for the experience. As for us we are still not quite safe but MM has performed miracles with us since he took over in November. Perhaps your board left it a bit too late when replacing Mcinnes! Good luck next year and make sure you hammer the Crawley pikeys!
I'm still away on holiday but have been watching the results.... Gutted that we're down, but it was almost inevitable when SOD took over that our position was going to be non recoverable. I hope SL and the board take a long hard look at themselves for the situation they have caused. CTID
Newcastle fan in peace! Just wanted to pass on my commiserations. Relegation is a horrible feeling when it happens - been there , done that! Its also an opportunity for a fresh start though. The chance to clear out some deadwood and begin re-building. I'm old enough to remember BCFC in the old division one, but as others have shown no team is too big to fall. Good luck for next season and enjoy the new journeys!
I can't believe the understanding of our situation coming out of these comments, cheers to all concerned and I'm still waiting for the munch bunch to start with their sarcasm.... please log in to view this image
I am so gutted for him. He had literally just done an interview saying how excited he was at getting back soon and then stepped on the training pitch and did his cruciate again. He's out for all of next season, and I hope he'll be back. I've seen players careers ended for less though. He's a decent bloke too. It never happens to the tossers!!
Shame, but been on the cards for several months now. Lived in Bristol for 14 months and is a good weekend away trip with Leeds. Good luck next season!
