That's where you're wrong. I criticised him because he hadn't invested in Barmby's January window. No matter what slant you try to put on it my comments were the same as everyone elses on that day and I didn't get involved in any kind of witch hunt which it sometimes seems is all you and your mates are interested in.
At the time the rumour mill had gone into overdrive and there was concerns that Allam was about to sell the club (on the back of the assumed "truth" from Barmby that he'd been sacked because the Allams had reneged on the promise of financial investment.) That was in the heat of a 24 to 48 hour period of uncertainty. This however has been going on for months so it should not be subject to the same hysteria.
So you think they lied when they said they'd offered to fund transfers in January but it was NB's choice not to use the funds offered? They weren't the same as Happy's, Chazz's. Tyger's, mine or many others. Not everybody had a drama fueled hissy fit on the day, most were rational & coherent waiting to learn the facts before reacting. Others who were critical of them then & are still critical of them now. Some have admitted their opinions of our owners have changed since then yet they are not critical of others who criticise them now. Some others refuse to accept what their opinions were then yet to be fair they can't remember today what their opinions were yesterday. I must be missing the witch hunt. It doesn't appear to register that the CTWD campaign is one based on respecting our owners. It doesn't matter how deep you bury your fingers into your ears & hissy fit more "la la las" that fact will not change.
We have the same concerns now don't we? The only hysteria I observe is from posters who are apparently indifferent of the name change. They even start their own threads regarding a subject they don't care about.

If AA was willing to write off £50m and hand the club over to the fans, giving us the 'gift' he's always claimed, then it's true that I'd be quite happy, as Hull City would be far better off than it is currently.
Ah the old play on words that Obi keeps doing. You know exactly what he meant. The gift was saving the team from oblivion. i'm posting stuff that is on CI and from the CTWD committee. Thats the stated aim isnt it? Force Mr Allam into giving the club to CTWD and walk away?
No play on words, AA said he rescued the club as a gift to the City and reminds us almost weekly how much he's spent. Only he hasn't spent it, he's loaned it and he's now threatening to take it back if we don't agree to his daft name change. There is no stated aim to take over the club, not by CTWD, nor by anyone else. There is a long term aim of CTWD die to get fan representation on the board of Hull City, so that the fans have a voice, but we're a way off that at the moment and nobody thinks AA is likely to walk away from his investment.
Not sure why this thread has gone this way again. Was hoping for some other annoyances that other posters would care to share but there you go.
