Neil Adams has been in charge the last 3 games so how can you blame CH. IMO we would have stayed up under Chris but under Adams we don't look like winning or even drawing a game. So how can you still blame Hughton? Oh of course because you are blinded by hatred!

How about because our last four are against some of the top clubs in Europe and in the 30 games that preceded it we were so dire that we could get a few points ahead of the bottom 4 that we didn't need points from those games.

    1) How about Hughton had to manage many of those 30 games with lots of injuries and negative fan support which Adams never had to?
    2) How about Hughton managed to win and draw some games against these top clubs?

Don't blame Hughton FFS, if anything this VINDICATES those of us who said he should stay!

CH would have been as crap, all this result proves is that we should have got shot of him December and not when there's 5 games left!

Find a wall top bang your head against, there is no chance of getting any kind of agreement.

DM sorry pal but what your saying is bordering on delusional when you take into account CH's stats away from home. Crazy what your writing.

How can you say I am delusional. The stats are simple; under Hughton we had a cushion from the bottom 3 under Adams we have lost every game in spite of, as I mentioned earlier him having the fans on side and only one injury which must make a significant difference.

How is this Hughton's fault? What I saw today was no better then Hughton's worst away matches tbh.

Stats, stats, stats.....take out that 10 match run last season, and do your sums again <laugh>

I am not saying that run was nothing more than just sheer luck, but there has been nothing since to suggest, since that time, it wasn't either. I really am at a loss to see how you cannot see what was happening week in week out. Away performances have been a disgrace, even away at West Brom when we won 2-0, we had no 'real' right to win that game, but somehow did. Even more recently at home, performances were turgid, flat and totally uninspiring. (Think Newcastle Utd & Fulham - just as last season)

That's fine, if that is what you are happy with, but I am guessing you are in the minority these days.

I'm not arguing that Hughton had a good record.he didn't.But changing manager with five games remaining and putting someone with no experience in charge was quite simply mad and almost certainly a result of being swayed by phone in crackpots getting a bandwagon rolling. It is no way to run a Premiership football club.McNally lost it big time.

Shame that I won't be making the trip to CR next season and a pint in the Coaches and Horses beforehand...I'll miss the banter...
Where was the passion and the fighting spirit from the NCFC side tonight. At 2-0 Snodgrass makes a break into the box whips in a cross to the edge of the six yard box....Who is there? No one...Heads down, but you'll be back soon enough...
    Good luck HCAFC...

I agree with this, but that is what DM did, and he should take certain amount of flack. However, he does have a chance to redeem himself in the summer and next season, but if a downward spiral continues, then questions are likely to be asked about his stewardship of the club (rightly or otherwise)

I'm sure you've read enough of posts from that time - I was as critical as most when we played poorly under Hughton. But now without Hughton we have lost every game! I would rather play dreadful football and win on occasion then lose every time. And to be honest the football we played today was pretty dreadful anyway!

Today was as bad as I have seen all season.OK the cheating fecker Welbeck dived for the first but the whole 90 minutes was dross. It's not as if United were good.

The only problem I can have with that statement, is that we are now playing the top 4 teams in the PL (although Man Utd are probably going to end up 6th or 7th - they are still one of Europe's top clubs). Okay, Fulham away was horrible, and perhaps undeserved (even Fulham fans state this). We cannot realistically expect anything for the last 4, and as horrible as today was, I still can't say with any degree of assurance, that the result would have been any (that much) different had CH not been dismissed, and would suggest you could not either.

To that end, I can only suggest that 'letting go' is the only course of action, in an attempt to get a more unified support for the club and team <ok>

And the fans applauded the players off afterwards - if Hughton had been in the dugout I doubt that would have been the case. If only the fans had supported Hughton so unequivocally...

I've just got home from the match and am yet to see a replay but from where I was sat it looked a blatant penalty.

Why was our goal in the first half disallowed?

Well to be honest I doubt many would have backed us to beat Spurs or draw vs Man City but Hughton managed this season as well as other good results against these teams last season.

And for the record it isn't about letting go - I am fully behind Adams as I always be behind Norwich. But I find it rank hypocrisy for people to say we should unite under Adams when these people were calling for Hughton's head yet we are now playing worse under Adams.

And when somebody says something like: "If we finish last I want to hear the people who defended CH, I really do." then I can't let that go unchallenged. We were miles away from last place when Hughton was dispensed so if we finish last it certainly wont be his fault!

From the angles I have seen, he dived, but that was after several bottles <laugh> I asked the question at the time but never got an answer, so I still believe it was a 'tumble'

A slight touch on the defender. From what I saw it looked really harsh, but hey, them are the breaks in the PL <ok>

Agreed. I thought/hoped that the Spurs game was the turning point.....however......

Hmm, tricky one, for many reasons

Miles away? Do you really believe that?
I can recall a few people saying "we are only 5 points away from 10th" not that long ago, forgetting that we were also 5 points from 18th. At no time this season have Norwich been comfortably away from the bottom three, in terms of points. Forget being 13th at one stage, we were still only 5 points clear. I find this last statement very odd tbh (not wishing to fall out with you).
