IF this is true about Heskey why the **** did we offer Scotland an extra year? It makes no sense! Mind you this is Jewell we are talking about!
I'm not sure what to make of this but by no means would this be a terrible bit of transfer buisiness. If he come he will certainly improve us. On his day he is a very good player although I would much rather we got in Davis who would surely command lower wages despite having a bigger fee? This kind of goes against our tranfers policy this summer of buying younger players, I don't mind getting in the odd experienced player but would prefer it to be a CB or CM rather than upfront where we already have a bit of experience with Chopra and Scotland. Scotland would probably do a similar job to Heskey and going by last season is probably in better form, although obviously Hesky is better with his head. By no means a bad signing I just hope its a sort of story released by ITFC to make Derby lower their price for Davis!!
Im not sure that he is that similar to Scotland. Scotlands not that big and is definately not a true target man although he does use his bulk to hold the ball up well. The problem comes from the fact you always expect more than you get from Heskey. I dont think he is usual but watching him definately infuriates as he fails to do what I consider the obvious or the easy
'We understand that Emile Heskey met with #itfc chief exec Simon Clegg last week' .............................
We are close to signing Heskey just read the headline from TWTD! http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=21059&title=player_town_close_to_signing_not_a_striker
HOW DARE YOU CARRA! Clegg maybe a ****, but he isn't a ****ing stupid, ugly, sister shagging, up his own ass ****! any more slander like this on our board and i will have to take a leaf out of Dave's book and start banning people!
Just seen Heskey on the stage at the Wolsey Theatre.................................apparently He's 'Holding up the Play'...................................................'Holding up the Play did you hear that i said he's holding up the play....but not in the football sense its been switched around to mean that he is obstructing the flow of a dramatic production..............oh dear i ask you hey who would believe it'......
