Following our postcard to the future in an earlier post, I thought it would be interesting to discuss the possible reasons why this once thriving society has completely disappeared from the face of the Earth?
In order to get an experts view as to the reasons for this strange phenonomen, I have invited Professor Tess Cobag along for a question and answer session, Tess specialises in Archaeology and Anthropology.
Hi Professor, What do you think the reasons might be for this once thriving society almost completely vanishing in such a short history period?
Well Banksy, As you have previously noted these Sag people were not particularly attractive people and did indeed find difficulty attracting suitable mating partners, inbreeding became common and as you know this can lead to various generational defects, I don't think the problem was wholly down to this though as rumours of sexual deviancy and same sex liaisons are commonly found in their writings.

So Professor, Were these physical defects like additional digits and eye patches a cause of this inbreeding or were they trying to look more like their
chosen gods "The Pirates".
Well Banksy, although many chose to worship the buccaneering image of The Pirates of the Caribbean, they actually more resembled the Pirates of Somalia in their dress and attitudes.

Well Professor, Do you think we may see the return of 'The Sag People' at any time in the near future or do you think we have actually seen the last of their breed.
Banksy, there is actually a legend that predicts the return of the "Gas People" when the 'curse of the lower divisions' is lifted from amongst them, until then the sight and sound of the sags will continue to be very rare event indeed not witnessed by very many humans.
"Oh, I wont hold my breath then, thank you."
I hope that helped to explain why the Gasheads suddenly disappeared from amongst us but it still leaves many questions we can only guess at?
