We should still be top tonight with Burton losing 2-0 at home to Morecambe but Bury are beating Portsmouth 3-0.

One shot all game. Well done Wycombe. You shut out what was supposed to be the most potent strike force in the League. 2 points clear at the top

That's the first match I've seen this season. What a defensive unit we have there. They dominated their forwards completely, really impressive. If they stay fit we'll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

Cheers nd. Our defence must be the strongest in the League. I'm dreading injuries

Really good display today always looked comfortable and when both Tubbs and tubby picked up yellows in the first half they were non existent and our defence had them in their pocket really it should have been at least 4-0 Crowd of just over 4.3K best yet this season lets hope some more return now good football is on offer plus half season tickets for the new year at £99 we're having a laugh<somersault>

Neil Ardley on Wycombe v Wimbledon
"I've got no complaints about today's result. When teams are at the top of the table they are there for a reason.
"I think they out-worked us. They won most of the second balls and had quality in the right areas when they needed it.
"We were poor today, but that's not to take credit away from Wycombe who thoroughly deserved that."

Fair play to Ardley he told it as is was.

Isn't it great to be able to watch The Football League Show without feeling utterly depressed like last season? I havn't felt this good for some seasons now and long may it continue! Oh and i'm coming round to thinking Ainsworth should not be sacked! <whistle> <laugh><laugh>

I am certainly not Craig's biggest fan, however, he put a massive shift in on Saturday and assisted both goals. The 2nd was a somewhat fortunate assist but he was still in the right areas. I'm still not sure who the best partner is for Hayes though. Im not convinced the strikers we do have are the answer, they are all different but they need to chip in with more goals. The midfield has chipped in with their fair share of goals this season something we have not had in previous years and it has made a massive difference.

been away for a week or so and I have to say what a superb pair of results and by the sounds of it performances too! That young defence dealt with akinfenwa so well, I remember him tearing us up for Northampton a couple of years ago so for pierre and mawson to have him in their back pocket is excellent!

going back to the Morecambe game, what a strike from Sammy wood! he seems to like these long punts and that was a remarkable strike!
