Montenegro haven't come to play so there's not a lot else we can do, to be honest. Thought Townsend was a bit greedy at the start but I think that was just early excitement with dreams of scoring a beauty after a mazy run flashing before his eyes. After that he and Walker looked good down the right and it was the likes of Gerrard, Sturridge and Welbeck who got too greedy.
To think only last year Townsend seemed to be in no man's land. That loan move to QPR was the start of him proving he could make it. At another time he could have been sold to a championship club yet that shows young players just need a chance and great to see Townsend start to mature as a player.
Well done to Andros for persevering at his game and well done to Harry Redknapp for giving him the opportunity at QPR and for developing his talent.
No wonder he hasn't scored for us this season, someone should've told him he's right footed! Thoroughly deserved, he's been England's best player
Careful SC. Praising Redknapp usually ends in that praise being dismissed! Lol Redknapp definitely helped in allowing Andros to express himself and as much as we have attacked Avb. Avb definitely deserves credit for rewarding Andros and showing if young players impress on loan they will get their chance.
Looks like Fat Frank didn't enjoy seeing the Spurs boys celebrating. He looked as miserable as sin whilst Andros and Defoe celebrated.
