How it used to look from between the wars, that could be Lucia painting, whilst being watched by Georgino.

And how it looks now. Rather forlorn isn't it?

What was the agreed contribution to charity guys?

Piskie and Pomps have both nominated theirs so we'll know on Sunday.

Was it a fiver or a tenner? Not sure if everyone will do it tbh but I'd like to think most would. Up to the winner if they're gonna ask for evidence or not I suppose.

Edit- misread your post and I'm not sure <doh><laugh>

It would be a lot easier to set up a just giving page. That way we can see who has paid their contribution and more importantly, who
aren't men of their word!!! <laugh>

If we all whacked in a tenner thats £310 visibly going to a good cause!

Think it was originally £5, I'd be happy to do £10 but I think you'd get more people donating £5. The only thing with a Just Giving page is that people might shy away from it if they think it will reveal their personal details.

If anybody is snide enough to say they'd donate and then back out it, then their own conscience should be punishment enough.

How does a justifying page work? Sounds a lot of effort too.

I'd be happy to provide evidence either edited or by pm if the winner wants it anyway.

There's no need to give personal details mate.

Eg, you could set it up as NOT606 WC with a link to the charity page.

All I would then do is go onto the JG page as Burly Hurley and say "Paid" and show how much was contributed.

We've done it on the Sunderland Forum.

Piss easy mate.

And keeps people honest mate ;)

Mine will have to be a donation to the National trust. Lamb House in Rye doesn't seem to have a charity.

I do urge anyone who has never been to Rye to pay a visit there, one day if you can.
