It's weird. I feel kind of liberated. All the stress, worry: world cup fever has been suddenly lifted. But what a terrible state of affairs that is - shows I've been bred on near misses, dogshit and generally coping with, and being accepting of, failure. That's what being a City and England fan is for you. The most gutting thing is that we didn't lose to a great team - a very good team, but not great. That said, I am proud of our tournament. It's reignited my love for international football and England. We have a lot to look forward to. England's young team have this new International League to win, and the Euros in 2020 - which, I think, has the SF and F at Wembley. Without going into detail, it felt we were down when they equalised. Psychology, in football, beyond the rudimentary, is perhaps its most important science.

Missed chances in the first half cost us. BUT It was a ridiculously easy route that masked how good we was. They should still be proud though, they are a young side that showed heart and togetherness and they will come back stronger and better from this experience.

Hopefully with Oxlade-Chamberlain getting back to fitness, Wilshere staying fit and get games will add options to the midfield. We need a striker as well to develop as well to compete with Kane.
