    Not a chance, mate.

    I was joking in the pub on Monday that Germany would win four nil. Someone was defending the Brazil defence, especially Dante, who the person in question said was far better than Silva. He was insisting there was no way Germany would put 2 past Brazil, let alone 4. So I said that I was talking about the first half only. It was in jest, just to wind the bloke up, to be honest, but wish I'd used that as the basis of my Semi prediction. <laugh>

    Dante was poor but Luiz was the main guy at fault. Whether Silva's been keeping him in check or the arm band went to his head I don't know but Luiz was not holding position, he was constantly hitting a long ball that wasn't finding a teammate and he showed zero leadership throughout. Its one of the worst performances I've ever seen from a player TBH, truly awful.

    Luiz lost his marker for the first goal, was out of position for just about all the others, his lack of discipline was infectious to the others and he could/should have been sent off for an elbow. And he was the captain, so it was his job to keep his cool and organise the people around him. Instead, Brazil fell to pieces and lost 7-1. I don't think Aspas, Downing or Carroll have ever been that catastrophic for Liverpool, or anyone else. And I actually like Luiz.

    I agree with you both. luiz took it upon himself to go nuts running about "creating" and never bothered his barney defending.

    the truth is mourinho moved him to DM and spent half his time badgering the guy form the side line notto run forward and then just bought matic and dropped him.

    Luiz thinks he is yaya toure... and an AM.

    He's a CB who thinks he is an AM... in my view... which is dangerous it says it all that mourinho dispensed poste haste with him and with the slow mata. In many ways the dutch and germans teams would be his ideals.. pace physique and little craft expect for one player

    I thought one was red and one was more of a yellow personally, but I can see why it could be a red so won't argue the point. Agree on Klose.
