Match Preview;
West Brom sit 10th, having won 2, then drawn 2, then lost 1 in their last 5 games. They are now 5 points from 6th place, with 7 games to play, so doable if they start winning. Their top scorers are Brandon Thomas-Asante
and Daryl Dike with 7 each, closely followed by John Swift (6) then Jed Wallace and Karlan Grant (5 each). They've scored 48 so far this season, so only 10 more than us, but they've conceded 42, which is 20 less than us. It gives me a glimmer of hope that they lost to Rotherham in their last game...only a glimmer, because I managed to watch the highlights of Saturday's game.

We had our chances on Saturday, didn't take them, got punished, and the players, some of them literally, just shrugged their shoulders. We've now a place and a point above the relegation zone, and potential catastrophe for the club. That was our fourth loss in a row, after beating Watford on March 11th, our only points from our last 10 games. Only Reading's points deduction has kept us out of the relegation zone. In years gone by, I'd have made some comment at this stage suggesting we'll now go and win a few of our next four games, all against teams in the top 10 (West Brom, Coventry, Norwich then Burnley) but, sadly, I just can't see it happening from this bunch of players...they just don't seem to care enough. Ainsworth needs to install a different mindset/attitude/work ethic in this bunch, or I can see us being in serious trouble by the time the Stoke games comes around at the end of April.

Sorry lads and lasses, all a bit grim today. Still, don't let it ruin any Easter celebrations...lets just hope for a Rangers resurrection come Monday!

Pre-match Talk
Gareth Ainsworth (QPR head coach): “Everyone seems to have us nailed on for relegation at the moment and we are bottom of the form guide - but it is about time the boys turned that around.

“Everyone thinks we’re gone – let’s go out there and prove them wrong. That is the attitude I want.”

Carlos Corberan (West Brom head coach): "This (a win) is what the situation demands - it's what the club demands."

As always, respect if you are making the trip, and...

...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Cheers Dave.

I’m hyper excited about this one, I’m so happy that the team have managed to make the end of the season knife edge rather than settling for mid table obscurity. So generous of them! It’s great to have something to play for after Easter. In my case my sanity.

For anyone going local knowledge experts assure me you are best off for a pre match pint in the Jewellry Quarter, a couple of stops (ten minutes) on the local train from the Hawthorns. The Red Lion has been recommended but @Bwood_Ranger might know others which are better. If there is interest I’ll get off my train a bit early. If not I’ll go to the game without anaesthetic. Scary.

It can’t get any worse.

Can it?

And the good news is: Norrköping is playing away in Stockholm, so I will be otherwise engaged. What a relief!
And the bad news is: Norrköping will probably get as much of a slap as the Poops.

If Roberts starts, I'll get my mini voodoo doll out and start inserting the pins !
I think it's at the point where it's irrelevant who starts. From a personal view, if Ainsworth is to continue with the hit and hope brand of football then surely he has to start our fastest player up top. Armstrong is that player.

West Brom fans planning a protest against the owners which will delay their entry til 12 minutes in. Hopefully their players go along with it and we don’t concede for the first 12 minutes

I only know of The Vine but yeah probably worth stopping in Birmingham en route if getting the train from London.

I’ll be at Bromley v Bwood.

I've just discovered that due to the game being shown on some obscure channel in France, it won't be available for me on QPR+. Frustrating, but potential a good thing!

Yes, the video stream coverage is limited. Unfortunately, I have no excuse as it will be shown live on the ViaPlay platform.

Please let's change this fact this afternoon

QPR have had more managers than wins since going top of the Championship on October 19.
