We came through the stern test on Friday against Leeds who were leading the Championship before the day started, but perhaps more importantly, everyone had a smile on their faces again. Yes, we dropped a couple of points, but the manner in which we played gave the fans a much-needed boost. If a player had a bad game, I didn't spot it.
The real problem with a small squad is that when you have two games in three days there is little time for a player, who has given his all, to recover, and face another team that is looking for promotion.

West Brom. extended their unbeaten run in the Championship to seven matches on Good Friday, when they travelled to the capital to face Millwall, and the visitors were able to bounce back from an early setback to ensure that they did not suffer a maiden defeat since February 16th.

Team News

Josh Maja and Daryl are missing due to injury.

No news yet from the treatment room on the state of the Watford players.

Emmanuel Dennis will be assessed over the weekend after being taken off in the second half during the 2-2 draw with Leeds United on Good Friday.

Wil Kone be in midfield or in that funny attacking role which he looked rather lost in has to say!

Great to see another Academy product getting experience on the [HASHTAG]#watfordfc[/HASHTAG] bench. Zavier Massiah-Edwards is a player Clevs knows well from the U18s. I’ve seen him often for the U21s, a very skilful and pacy winger who loves to run at defences. Andrew French.
