    Delighted. Great win and played positively even if we did go deep for the last 10 minutes - you can understand that. West Brom didn't threaten after getting the second.

    If we played like this each week people would be less critical. Yes we have flaws but the performance was positive and full of drive.

    WBA in serious trouble, prem league a must priority - thay cant afford to be distracted by the cup.

    And breathe. Even when we are winning, there's always that nagging doubt, that we will somehow throw it away. We need to make sure it's not all wasted by keeping it going. One win is not enough, the way this league chops and changes. Was sure Sturridge would score before being injured for the rest of the season.

    Still work to do given our end of season run, but getting 3 wins in our remaining 12 is far more doable than 4 in 12 would have been.

    What is this strange feeling of satisfaction inside?...

    Lemina was superb today (sorry didn't see LTL's post) and my MOTM, JWP just keeps getting better and better. Lots of attacking options today and it showed.

    Only drawback is conceding two goals from only five corners defended, that has to improve.

    Onwards and upwards, Pellegrino might just have saved his job and he must continue in the new courageous vein with the same team if possible.
