I never said fans couldnt voice concerns, I said I would have not done it in the way some have done, booing, slaggin off, personal insults (think Mr Kneejerk24 called him a useless c*nt or similar).

 

Whether it is the board's fault or Pellegrino's ( I think that is a mixture of both) the bottom line is WE HAVE WON ONLY 4 LEAGUE GAMES ALL SEASON something has to change pretty quickly.

 

I think we all agree on that part, and who knows, it may start Saturday.

Fwiw - I think he will be sacked Sat if we dont win.

 

Ah no Billy, I would never resort to that, I don't dislike the man and it is not personal, I just want what is best for us at this moment.

Dyche and Howe have both had plenty of time with their squads.

If we had sacked MP2 and replaced him with Hodgson, what do you think the majority of our supporters would have said at the time? Because I recall howls of derision directed at Palace when they appointed him; ditto Allardyce at Everton (I've always rated Allardyce btw, and been ridiculed every time I've defended him).

 

Yep , nowt wrong with Allardyce IMHO .

 

This is what is annoying me most about the whole debate. The ones thinking it's OK to call him 4 letter words and insults like clown. He seems to be a decent bloke and deserves some respect for trying his best. People may think he's not good enough but the abuse is uncalled for. They only end up letting themselves down.

 

With some of the terms and inappropriate remarks I am surprised there haven't been warnings or bans.

 

Tbf to Tom he goes into rage mode about anything and everything Saints related when we start losing/playing badly. His rage isn't just for Pellegrino

I howled and howled with derision at the time too- boring managers, not the kind we want at saints. Right now I would love one of them to take over. That's the realistic desperate situation we are in. I never thought I would see the day I would actually want allardyce but right now I would take him in a heartbeat.

 

He is highly paid to do his job- much more than (most) of us. Just being a 'decent bloke' isn't good enough, he should be able to see he is going to get us relegated and resign. The fact he is staying in his position, stubbornly refusing to change and not delivering results, does make him a bit of a clown to be honest.
If I was that **** at my job I would have resigned a long time ago.

 

Well, it certainly doesnt make it right does it.

I don't have anyone on ignore, I never have, but he is possibly the closest (not that he will be bothered, I thought he had me on the naughty step)

 

Being paid a lot doesn't mean it acceptable for people to be abusive to you. It's not a rule just for the lower paid. I didn't say being a decent bloke was enough for him to not be sacked and do we know that he hasn't tried to resign? No, as with everything we haven't got a clue what is going on behind the scenes.

 

Id be amazed if you resigned your job if it involved the vast compromise agreement received which would be negated if you resigned. I'd argue who the real clown was in that situation.

 

I wasn't aware anyone had been abusive to him. All I've said is that he is out of his depth and incompetent. I doubt he would resign, getting sacked means a big pay out.

 

Yeah I find it amusing when he goes into meltdown, I pull him up on it a fair bit but he just ignores me/has me on ignore now I think.

He obviously has some sort of anger problem when things aren't going his way, yet has the cheek to moan when people slag off refs or if players argue with refs over decisions.

 

Tom's a good lad and he quickly comes around after his little outbursts, people should take his comments during a match with a huge pinch of salt IMO.

 

I dont agree, he should be able to act reasonably. I could understand if it were very out of character, but it isnt.

Is very rare that I actually see him having a reasoned debate, but in fairness to him I rarely ready everything he posts and I move past it.
