We came away with something from a top 6 side. The key to our run in is beating the teams around us when the time comes and with recent form and results we're in a good place. If we keep these levels of performance up with Puerta and Pedro coming back in then Championship status is ours to lose. Just need to keep giving 100% and taking the chances we get.

As well as Geldhart, I’m also a big fan of Palmer, he might occasionally go missing but he’s always a threat, very good player to bring on from the bench and I’d probably start him next game instead of Crooks. I hope we don’t sell him in the summer.

I've been a bit disappointed by Crooks recently. He started with a bang but hasn't really sustained it for me, without the goals his lack of pace and mobility is clear. Palmer is a better option if he can give us a full game.

Dunno, he's a big lad, no youngster and the championship is a tough gig after what he might have got used to in the US. Having said that Pedro's the same age and he looks like he could run all day (albeit not at whippet-like pace!)

Anyone notice how especially second half we get two and three men around the oppo players to smother them , it takes energy and good management to get them to commit to this . If we stay up I think this guy will get us competing properly .

    Triffic point.

Most pleasing aspect was our closing down and pouncing on errors, loose touches etc.

We certainly look up for it and well drilled which is great.

Great point again today. The team comes back again. Huge kudos to Selles and the boys. I thought we were done this season before Christmas but the form in the last few games has been ace.

Good point is that...I suspect that to a man/lady we'd have taken that at 3pm...Need to obviously focus on Luton after the break. Talking about larkers for next season when we're still not guaranteed a spot in Championship next season, is a bit premature. Lets think about that at the time.

Good point, shame we didn’t snatch it but we’d have all taken a point before hand.
Can’t believe we are only 3 points out of the bottom 3 though

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray told BBC WM:

"We're left frustrated at the end I think.

"Ultimately we paid the price for only being 1-0 up. We've got to be more ruthless. We had 16 shots today and only three on target. The percentage is not good enough.

"It's been difficult to do the work on the training ground, particularly this week with three games, and I think in the international break there's some scope to work on getting more end product from our possession and play in the final third.

"It's a disappointed dressing room and I think rightly so.

"We knew Hull would be a team that play on the front foot and be aggressive - when you look at where they are in the table they're better than that."

Hull City boss Ruben Selles told BBC Radio Humberside:

"West Brom are a really good team and a really tough opponent and I think we were as competitive as them today.

"They were more in control in the first half and we were suffering in some defensive moments but we came back in the second half even though we conceded a goal and we ended the game creating chances.

"I think it was a fair point. We could have lost it but we could have won it. We'll take the point and move forward.

"The substitutions gave us something different. The squad wants to work together and everyone is giving everything."

Obviously disappointing when other teams around us win, still a very good point for us and it keeps the unbeaten run going. Looking ahead and the position we are in, we need hopefully to get three wins as quickly as possible then look at the other teams. I don’t know if 50 points will be enough but with only 8 games to go I would imagine it won’t be far off. Every single point now is crucial because as we all know any of the bottom 6/7 winning puts added pressure on the others. At the moment we need three teams to be adrift but unfortunately that’s not the case, All we can do is keep pressuring the others and hopefully that will start to happen soon. Today’s fight back and point could be crucial come the end.

8 points from our last 4 is very productive. Win next game and we could go 16th.

Decent human being Tony Mowbray. Watched him playing for the Boro and always liked him. Really impressed when he married his first wife when she was 25 knowing she had terminal breast cancer. She died at 26. He’s old school, shame there aren’t a few more like him.

    That's a good point today .
Watched the EFL highlights and should have been 3 in the end .
It's a tough bottom half of the division with a t least 9 teams in the relegation mix mm

I know some of the other results didn't go in our favour, but a hard-earned point is a very good outcome, particularly after going behind.

The substitutes definitely changed the game for us, both Palmer & Kamara made the difference. I also thought Lincoln looks to be more in tune with the game now, I can see him starting on one of the wings soon.

The backline did a good job, only being beaten by a really good strike from Price.

I thought Crooks had a better game than against Oxford, Alzate steady as ever, and Slater had an okay performance IMO, but we certainly missed Puerta's drives forward.

Nothing more to add about Gelhardt of what other ave said, as usual he was the biggest threat, Joseph looks a lot better centrally.

Kamara probably should have done better with the chance he had one on one with the keeper, but I guess credit to the keeper for the save.

On to the next one, Luton really is another must win game, though a draw maybe an acceptable point depending on what others do.

Having rewatched Kamaras chance in injury time I still think it was a good chance, but not the gimme on first watch, I had thought he should have hit it first time but I think the pass is ever so slightly behind him and in the ens the keepers done very well, he looked gutted at the end of the game but he'd got us the equaliser and looked a big threat throughout
