It’s about standards though Syd. He’s been gash and is being commented on as such, which has lead to people just praising his work rate, which is a bare minimum. His set pieces are meant to be up there with the best. A
I think excellent is a tad over egging it, he's definitely been better and it was a great cross/assist, but his free kick hit the wall, a corner hit the first man and he goes down way to easy. Which is the 3 bits I pulled him up for as that just isn't good enough. You've been critical of him lately but I suppose it's ok when you see it that way to, but the second you dont anymore you dig at people who still think ( up until his cross ) that he should offer more
It was a simple observation that they've improved in recent games. He seems to be settling in and improving.

We’re away at one of the best teams in the league and we look the better team, Twine’s played a significant role in that, he’s played a couple of great forward balls and has worked tirelessly defensively. Shame you missed it all really.

After giving them a goal, I thought we played it well, we didn't panic, we slowly worked our way back into the game and got the goal. Twine and Greaves have been excellent so far, let's hope we can up the tempo slightly 2nd half.
I thought he was fairly poor in the Birmingham game, but he’s definitely improved and looked much better in the Southampton, Preston and West Brom (so far) games.
